Fixed. Root cause: `format()` treated any `String(n)` longer than 14 chars as “too long” and ran `toPrecision(10)`, so the exact safe integer `123456789012345` became `1.234567890e+14`.
Change in `/home/agent/calc/index.html`:
- Safe integers (`Number.isInteger` and `|n| <= Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER`) always use full decimal `String(n)`.
- Shorter non-integers still pass through as-is.
- Only longer non-integers / non-safe values go through `toPrecision(12)` (exp only when the magnitude needs it).

1. **Chained operations after equals silently reuse stale state incorrectly**: after `compute()`, `previous=null, operator=null`. If user then presses an operator (e.g. `+`), `setOperator` sets `previous = parseFloat(current)` (the result) — fine. But if user presses equals again with no new operator entered (`operator===null`), `compute()` just returns silently with no feedback — repeated `=` does nothing instead of repeating last operation, which is a functional gap but not data loss.
2. **`format()` produces wrong/truncated results for large or precise numbers**: `toPrecision(10)` on something like `12345678901234` collapses precision incorrectly, and the regex `\.?0+$` strips trailing zeros even from integer part in edge cases like `100000000000` formatted via toPrecision → `"1.000000000e+11"` → strip trailing zeros gives `"1.e+11"`, a malformed number string that then gets displayed as-is (not reparsed), showing garbage to the user — silent wrong answer.
3. **Division by zero returns `NaN`, not `Infinity`, and `format(NaN)` — `isFinite(NaN)` is `false`, so it correctly shows "Error"** — that's fine actually.
4. **Operator pressed twice in a row (e.g. `5 + +`)**: `setOperator` checks `if (operator && !fresh && previous !== null) compute();` — since `fresh` is true after first operator press, this correctly skips recompute and just overwrites operator — fine, no bug.
5. **Snippet is truncated** (cuts off mid-`Enter` handler after `e.preventDefault()`), so the keydown handler for Enter/= never calls `compute()` — as pasted, pressing Enter/= does nothing. Can't confirm if this is a copy-paste truncation or an actual missing call in the source; needs the full file to verify.
Most important actionable item: verify the Enter/Equals key handler actually calls `compute()`, and fix `format()`'s toPrecision/regex path (test with a large number like `123456
